Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What makes a CTA button text perform better?

First-person framing ('Start my free trial') consistently outperforms second-person ('Start your free trial'). Specificity outperforms generic ('Get the audit template' vs. 'Download now'). Claude Code applies both principles plus others based on your specific context.

What should I put under the CTA button?

Risk-reversal microcopy like 'No credit card required', 'Cancel anytime', or 'Free for 14 days' reduces the perceived commitment. Claude Code generates the microcopy alongside the button text and adjusts the risk-reversal based on what objections your buyers actually have.

How many CTA variants should I test at once?

Test one variable at a time. If you change the button text, keep the surrounding copy constant. If you change the surrounding copy, keep the button constant. Two to three variants per test gives you enough data without splitting traffic too thin.
